OIC 2026 invites scholars, innovators, industry leaders, policymakers and practitioners to contribute to a forward-looking conversation on how artificial intelligence and strategic technologies are reshaping economies, industries and societies.

The conference tracks are organized into two complementary pillars. The first pillar focuses on the economic, social, policy and service transformations enabled by AI. The second pillar highlights strategic science and technology domains that are critical for productivity growth, technological sovereignty, sustainable development and national competitiveness.

Pillar 1. AI-Powered Economy, Society and Policy

Track 1. AI-Powered Economy, Productivity and National Competitiveness

Artificial intelligence is becoming a new engine of economic growth, productivity enhancement and national competitiveness. This track explores how AI, data-driven innovation and digital transformation are reshaping firms, industries, markets and economies.

We welcome research on AI-powered business transformation, productivity growth, digital transformation strategies, innovation ecosystems, open innovation, entrepreneurship, technology adoption, platform-based growth, industrial upgrading and the role of AI in strengthening national innovation capacity. Contributions may examine both opportunities and challenges, including organizational readiness, workforce transformation, institutional adaptation and the conditions required for AI to generate inclusive and sustainable economic value.

Track 2. Markets, Governance and Responsible AI in the Digital Society

As AI and digital platforms become deeply embedded in everyday life, they are transforming markets, consumer behavior, public governance and social trust. This track examines the institutional, ethical and market foundations of an AI-powered digital society.

Topics include AI-enabled markets, digital platforms, consumer experience, digital business models, fintech, govtech, data governance, AI regulation, responsible AI, digital ethics, privacy, cybersecurity governance, public sector innovation and institutional readiness for the digital economy. The track encourages interdisciplinary contributions that address how societies can govern emerging technologies responsibly while promoting innovation, competitiveness and public value.

Track 3. Education, Healthcare, and Tourism in the Age of AI: Transforming Service Models

AI is redefining how services are designed, delivered and experienced across education, healthcare, tourism and other human-centered sectors. This track focuses on the transformation of service models in the age of AI, with particular attention to quality, accessibility, personalization, productivity and inclusion.

We invite research on AI-enabled education, personalized learning, digital health, healthcare service innovation, smart tourism, destination management, visitor experience, service productivity, platform-based services, workforce transformation and inclusive access to high-quality services. The track welcomes both conceptual and empirical work on how AI can improve service delivery while preserving human connection, trust, fairness and social impact.

Pillar 2. Strategic Science and Technology for Sustainable Growth

Track 4. AI, Digital Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Quantum Technologies

The AI-powered economy depends on robust, secure and scalable digital foundations. This track focuses on the core digital technologies that enable intelligent systems, trusted data flows, resilient infrastructure and next-generation innovation.

Topics include AI models, big data, cloud computing, edge computing, IoT, blockchain, digital twins, high-performance computing, cybersecurity, cryptography, secure digital infrastructure and emerging quantum technologies. We welcome contributions that advance both the technical foundations and real-world applications of these technologies, particularly in areas that strengthen digital resilience, technological sovereignty and long-term competitiveness.

Track 5. Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, Automation, Semiconductors and Advanced Materials

Advanced industrial technologies are essential for the next wave of productivity growth, industrial upgrading and technological self-reliance. This track brings together research on the technologies that will define the future of manufacturing and high-tech industries.

Topics include smart manufacturing, robotics, industrial automation, intelligent production systems, industrial IoT, digital twins for manufacturing, semiconductor technologies, chip design, AI chips, advanced sensors, embedded systems, high-performance computing, advanced materials, functional materials, green materials and materials for high-tech industries. The track welcomes contributions that connect scientific and technological advances with industrial transformation, competitiveness and scalable innovation.

Track 6. Smart Agriculture, Marine and Environmental Technologies

Sustainable development requires transformative technologies for food systems, energy transition, marine resources, biodiversity conservation, environmental protection and climate resilience. This track focuses on strategic technologies that support smart agriculture, the blue economy, clean energy transition and environmental sustainability.

Topics include smart agriculture, agricultural biotechnology, precision farming, AI and IoT for farming systems, smart aquaculture, marine and ocean technologies, AI and IoT for marine monitoring, blue carbon, marine biodiversity conservation, renewable energy, energy storage systems, smart grids, hydrogen and clean energy technologies, environmental monitoring, pollution control, waste and wastewater treatment, circular economy technologies, carbon measurement, reporting and verification (MRV), and AI-enabled environmental, agricultural, marine and energy systems.

The track particularly welcomes research that integrates digital technologies, artificial intelligence and advanced engineering solutions to address climate change, food security, energy transition, sustainable resource management and the development of resilient coastal, rural and marine economies..
